Hosta ‘Diamond Lake’
SHADOWLAND® Collection
2022 Proven Winners® National Hosta of the Year®
Hosta ‘Diamond Lake’ is a breathtaking, large-scale blue hosta prized for its dramatic foliage and exceptional garden presence. Thick, heart-shaped leaves emerge a striking blue and feature heavy corrugation with softly wavy margins, giving the plant bold texture and substance. Individual leaves can reach an impressive 9" wide by 11" long, making this variety a true focal point in the shade garden.
In early to midsummer, pale lavender flowers rise above the foliage on proportionate scapes, adding seasonal interest without distracting from the show-stopping leaves. ‘Diamond Lake’ pairs beautifully with ferns, hellebores, and other shade perennials, and its dense foliage provides excellent ground coverage throughout the growing season.
